Waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning is one sure sign that spring is here. The slogan “April showers bring May flowers” is one that assures that summer is not so far behind. However, those spring showers can sometimes turn into terrible thunderstorms and tornadoes.

What would your family do if found in the midst of a thunderstorm or a tornado? Would you be prepared? Do you have the necessary skills and the tools to get through the storm safely?  Have you practiced a plan with your family?

If you answered no to any of these questions, don’t worry your Cincinnati Red Cross will be at Cincinnati Museum Center for Weather Weekend March 25-27,  to answer any questions and give you tips and guidance to starting your own preparedness kit and making a plan with your family.
