Assisting in the Southeast

Two volunteers are headed to North Carolina from our area to provide relief to those affected by the deadly tornadoes. These volunteers are mental health workers what will be available to help these individuals cope with the aftermath.

The American Red Cross sheltered more than 500 people over the weekend, served meals throughout the affected neighborhoods and provided personal hygiene items and supplies to help as the clean-up begins. Government officials reported more than 40 deaths from the tornadoes.

Since March, the Cincinnati Region has responded to 66 disasters and helped 113 families in our area. We are able to respond with the help of supporters like you. You can make an online donation, text REDCROSS to 90999 from your phone to give $10 or you can call 1-800-REDCROSS.
